The inaugural ISL/Wis playday varsity playday kicked off with 4 teams from Wis and 3 from IL.
The romans wanted to pick up their performance from the tough loss to evanston and accomplished that going undefaced with a record of 5-1-0.
The girls all got great experience playing against new opposition and showed why the romans can be a dangerous team this year in state, not only did they score 10 goals but also conceded zero goals over the course of the 6 games. More importantly (for the girls anyway) was the 1-0 victory against our cross part rivals parker.
Players of the tournament were Caroline G & Abby K.
With these performances the team should take great confidence going into their game against New Trier.
